Dear brothers:

We are in receipt of your letter of June 7th, 2006. Even though Classis Pacific East has made it clear to you that you need to interact with the Consistory's February 4th, 2006 response to your October 4th, 2005 letter, we find that your new letter fails to follow this classical directive. Instead of interacting with the February 4th response of Consistory, you have broadened your concern to call into question not only the decisions of Synod 2001 and 2004 in regard to the Orthodox Presbyterian Church but also now the decisions of 1977 and 1980. Basically, you are now asking us as Consistory, many years after the fact, to appeal decisions of Synod 1977 and 1980. Brothers, instead of expanding the debate and instead of supplying us with yet more lengthy study papers, we ask you to respond to the important points we made in points l through 8 of our letter dated February 4th, 2006. We also ask, in the interest of clarity and stewardship of time, that your responses be kept brief.

Yours in Christ,

J. Dykstra, clerk of Consistory R. Schouten, chairman
